Hello and Welcome

I am Andy Smailes, the webmaster for Totallyexpat.com. I have been managing this website since April 2009, and have developed and designed virtually every element. This is a large corporate website; to achieve the business’s goals I have had to use innovative and creative solutions such as modifying a website content management system to fit the client's needs.

I am also responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the website. My responsibilities include adding new jobs to the jobsboard, publishing news articles, and managing the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). The SEO has been successful; Totallyexpat.com has recently gained the Google Page rank of level 4, a high rank that means it features more prominently in Google searches.

I am also a freelance web designer and am happy to take on projects of all sizes.
